Formed in 1992 as a graffiti crew, Several Active Minds eschews "hiphop" costumes and slang of the day in favor of sincerity and heart.
If you miss A Tribe Called Quest, Gangstarr and 90’s Wu-Tang, you are going to love our artists’ thoughtful rhymes and moving beats. Too often in the underground phenomenal MC’s are matched with less talented beat makers in an effort to hold down costs. There is no compromise with Fresh Chopped Beats.
Our position is that of an underground hip hop label that can merge beautiful, melodic and hard music with deeper than average rap lyrics.
Our approach is total quality. We will consistently put out only classic level material. Great beats and great MC’s together for fans of authentic street mode boom bap hip hop who are missing that flavor.
